This Christmas tree celebrates the life and miraculous recovery of Bro. Hayden Gurman. Hayden Gurman is a beloved Seminary Teacher at Viewmont Seminary. On September 24, 2022, he fell 40 feet from the Glover Lane Bridge in Farmington while out training for a marathon. Hayden fought hard for his life and made it out of the hospital in just 5 weeks! Since then he has continued to work relentlessly to defeat any and every obstacle along his path of recovery. Hayden has always taken fitness to the extreme! He is an avid weightlifter and disc golf professional. He has invited many friends to join his intense weightlifting regimen at “Gainesville”—his home-based gym! (Named after his hometown and favorite Florida Gators.) Hayden’s determination to continue to beat the odds has inspired us all. He is greatly looking forward to getting back to doing all the things he loves, including teaching Viewmont’s students! His recovery has truly been miraculous!
